Compass Studio Ltd. (H-1044 Budapest, Megyeri út 40., furthermore as: data handler, Compass) is focusing very much on the data protection of its partners and customers, paying special attention to comply with the following regulations:

-1992. évi LXIII. law – on the protection of personal data (furthermore as Avtv.,)

-2001. évi CVIII. law – on electronic commerce  (Eker. tv.)

-2008. évi XLVIII. law – on basic conditions of advertising and certain limitations (Grt.)

-1959. évi IV. law – on Civil law (Ptk.)

 Basic notions

Data management:indifferent from the method used, every operation performed or sum of operations performed on data, such as collecting, recording, saving, organizing, storage, changing, using, forwarding, publication, coordinating or concatenating, closing, deleting and destructing or blocking for further use. It is considered data management to record a persons picture, voice or moving picture, or recording it’s any other physical identities suitable for recognition (fingerprint or hand-print, DNA sequence, iris map)

Data manager: person or legal entity or institution without legal personality, who has determined the aim of data recording, who makes decisions and performs those in regards of data management (including the used device), or it is performed by an appointed data manager.

Personal data: any data which can be used to make a conclusion on the identity of a person in question. Data will keep it’s quality as personal data until the connection from data to person can be done. A person can be considered as identifiable if especially the following data are recorded: name, id number, one or more physical, physiological, mental, cultural or social identities.

Data processing:technical operations performed during data management, indifferently from the technology or device applied or the from the place of such operations.

 Data operator: person or legal entity or institution without legal personality who is performing personal data management

 Data transfer:if the data becomes available to any 4rd person.

Data destruction:destruction of data or of media containing the data

The data management of Compass Ltd is on acknowledgement base.

The data manager records data only if was acknowledges voluntarily by visitors, as follows:

A.      The scope: managing mandatory data suitable to identify customers’ services  available for download and reference.

B.      Claim: data management is performed on registration data on the company website www.compass.co.hu, by the voluntary acknowledgement from behalf of registering customers.

C.      Data range: during registration the following personal data is required:name, company name,phone number, e-mail, address, password, user name.

D.     Data handling period: data is kept until otherwise written requested by customer. Data is deleted if the website is removed, personal data is destructed in such cases.

www.compass.co.humay have links to partner pages or own pages of data handler. By clicking on any of the links, no data is recorded. Please be aware though, that partner companies may have their own Privacy Policy with rules which may differ from ours, so it is advised to check these.

D.     Data handling period: data is kept until there is a valid contract between parties, data is destroyed after 2 years after termination. In non-contract cases data is destroyed after 2 years.

 E.     Data handling period: data is kept until there is a valid contract between parties, data is destroyed after 2 years after termination

A.      Scope: handling customer relationship, technical support, help

B.      Claim: az voluntry acknowledgement from those affected

C.      Data range: name, e-mail address, data provided during e-mail exchange.

D.     Data handling period: data is kept until there is a valid contract between parties, data is destroyed in 2 years after termination

Sustaining the rights to modify privacy policy in an unilateral way

We maintain the rights to modify the privacy policy, but of course providing notice about modifications for our users. Users accept modifications implicitly after the effective day of modification. Modifications may not affect the privacy policy rules imposed by the law.

Users and visitors of our pages, those who provided any personal data during our business interaction may request information about the personal data stored and in general about the handling our their personal data, modification of their data or the deletion of their personal data – except the ones requested by law. The company is providing the requested actions within 30 days for pretender. Data is provided free of charge once per calendar year. In other cases the company may specify a data handling fee for such requests.

The pretender may have objection against it’s data handling, if

-                the personal data is requested only to have the possibility to enforce his own rights (except the ones requested by law)

-                the personal data is used for poll or scientific research

-                or the law permits in that specific case the objection

The company is evaluating the objection within 15 days and provides the pretender with a written notice about the results. If the objection is accepted then the data handling is canceled.
